The image is a bit misleading. The metal tray itself is only 5.5 inches tall, which is very low.

The listed total height of 11.5 inches includes the 6-inch plastic top lid.

In my experience, a front-opening tray that's only 5.5 inches tall will allow a lot of tracking and litter to be kicked out.

Cool find, but I only see 30.99, not 20.99, am I missing something? I guess the 20.99 in the listing description is an error.

Sorry, I tend to fudge up a lot when posting from mobile.

Tell me more about this. Have been looking at the many many 'robots' for a while, reviews are unsurprisingly always mixed

I have a similar one to this and my cat that uses this one always jumps out the side and gets litter all over the floor. I honestly think the best ones are the closed in ones.

There are some that have actually killed cats. Also you have to factor in something about cleaning if your cat ever has diarrhea...

This is true. Big caveat here for new models, but one person's cat was actually killed from an older PetPivot Autoscooper model but I am confident it has been updated - and personally tested it thoroughly. Their website says absolutely nothing about it being updated, nor do they reply to you about it, but with my testing to check for possible danger areas, I didn't see a realistic situation where a cat would be killed. Search YouTube, I have a video.

I owned one similar, I couldn't stand the way the scooper felt against the stainless steel. It was like nails on a chalkboard.

I was in the market for one just like this so I grabbed it despite the comments and feedback. The price is right to give it a try. I'll report back when it arrives.

I use a plastic scoop. My favorite is the Litter Genie brand one which you can buy solo.
