I don't know if it is me BUT I recall when I was a kid this cereal would actually taste like "French Toast" !!!
Cookie Crisp would taste like miniature cookies.
Nowadays everything tastes like cheap sugar and chemicals.

I generally forget that this cereal exists and mostly eat high fiber stuff now, but once every 4-5 years I stumble on it and it tastes really good for a few bowls. In for a box.

I still to this day stand by my assertion that Cookie Crisp was not originally intended to be cereal, but the creators wife caught him eating cookies at 6am so he said "Oh uhhh you haven't heard of this new cereal?"

I literally thought this was discontinued. Even if these boxes are a decade old, I'm in.

Every time I go back and try my childhood favorites I feel like I'm being gaslit on a massive scale. Treats like this used to taste better/more unique when I was a kid, and yet every product I try is like that? How?!?

Not to further gaslight, but this is just part of being a kid. Remember mixing every soda at a soda fountain together and thinking it tasted good? Try that today and report back lol
