I bought this exact king mattress 15 months agoon Amazon for the same price; I think this is kinda the normal price. Some sometime within the first year (maybe even sixth months) a very clear depression developed so I don't know that it will have a long lifetime. It's still comfortable, but rolling across the bed you get stuck in the pit.

Most mattresses in this price range use cheap foams that will break down quickly. If the manufacturer won't tell you the exact type of foam and density, then it's probably not great. While density does correlate to firmness, it's not a strict correlation, and higher quality foams tend to have a density of at least 1.5 pcf.

I tried one like this in a Brooklyn Bedding store once. Didn't care about the gimmick copper but the mattress was just the perfect support and softness. It wasn't made of latex which is what i was looking for but this felt better to a 220lb guy than those ultra expensive ones. Oil based foam wont last as long before it starts being less supportive but that one would have been a great year of sleep. Almost dozed off testing it in store.

Read the reviews on Amazon. Saw several with pictures showing mold on the bottom of mattresses! That's worrisome.

i bought my kids some wallyworld memory foam mattress' in a box and surprisingly its more comfortable than mine! (but mines an old spring type). which is why im here... to try and find a mattress in a box for us. lol.
