So if I watch blu rays, it's better to stick to LG because of Dolby Vision support? And LG also has better gaming functions?

This or Costco deal. For 77 inch TV I paid around $1999. But Costco gives me 5 years warranty.

I feel Dolby Vision is overrated. Samsung has better OLED technology compared to LG.

Why do you think Dolby Vision is overrated? Isn't it the better technology since it's dynamic?

You're saying these S90F are better than C5s?

This is wild, I paid $1,230 on a Black Friday deal for the 65" S90D last year. How are these getting cheaper?

Correct. Costco + 5 years = 1999.00; current deal, Samsung EDD + 4 years = 1929.99

according to Rtings.com; Samsung has more accurate and vivid colors, 50% brighter and superior upscaling for non 4K content, but not DTS passthrough; whereas LG has Dolby Vision, but more of a matte screen and less vivid/accurate, andhalf the number of nits. I chose samsung for the upscaling, but I have to buy aftermarket splitter/audio extractor to get DTS passthrough-- so no eARC for me.

And will affect probably 0.5% of people here. Kind of like the microcenter deals that end up front page and almost nobody can get them because they are in store only.

It's not the price for over 99% of people here.

Because both look tewally good and you won't see any issues with Samsung hdr lol you'll love the tv regardless I have Samsung oled in my room and lg g5 in living room. G5 is the only lg tv that can compete with qdoled imo because it has better colors than the other TVs

I think this is dead, can't get to this price... $1,259.99 after education EPP. The code doesn't work, and if it did, that would bring it down to $1,134. What am I missing?

Dolby Vision is noticeably better than HDR10+. It's such a silly opinion when people say they think Dolby Vision is overrated.
