It depends on your preference and skin type. Some people are allergic to polyester, which can cause skin irritation and discomfort. Additionally, polyester is a hot material, so you would sweat more.

Would that make this jacket suitable for cold weather? Like in the 20-40 degree range? Thanks for the help

Polyester is a pretty standard material in any "athletic wear" type of clothing today. I would say for most people involved in a sport like soccer, a jacket like this would function more in the 30-50 degree range depending on a person's cold tolerance.
