Good deal..knife is average for benchmade. There is a microtech utx-85 for 200 that's better in my opinion

That title is a hell of a lot of words I didn't know lol, which for deals doesn't happen often for me so I'm excited to learn something. Might be nice to add "knife" to the title though

Never been a fan of grivory. Feels like cheap plastic even though it's durable. Have a few cold steels with it and never end up using those as my edc. That said, decent price for a benchmade and otf but not my Jam. My Current edc is a benchmade freek in s90v in carbon fiber which is a bit more expensive but if gifting I look for a more quality handle material. To each their own though! Either way, thanks for posting a knife deal OP. My experience with Blade HQ has been excellent. Ordered a few through them.

Thanks and done...all codes worked fine and all items for $218 with "air shipping". I collect knives, my otf's are mostly Benchmade and Ravencrest. I've always felt Benchmade are better overall.

Name and warranty. It's an average build though. We and microtech make a better knife for around the same price point

The title mentions the word "knife" twice.

Might want to give the Livewire a try, too. I liked it more than the Shootout, but YMMV.

Don't sleep on the Livewire, either. Not the brand cache, but made in the US and Magnacut. I fitted mine with a Lynch NW clip snd have been preaching about it ever since.

At this 200-250 price, I'd still opt for the Kershaw Livewire since it's MagnaCut. The free Civivi does give it edge in value tho.

I got the Scintilla in a different deal and it's actually a very good knife. Wonder if I need one in purple...

agreed, utx-85 is light years better. They also hold their value extremely well.
