This is a great unit
Probably more suited to a more medium space
I suggest checking out the owner's forum on AVS. Many of them have owned this AVR since its introduction in 2021
There are lot of tips and tricks that can be learned from those that have actually owned the unit for years
There is a high satisfaction from what I have read
I was certainly satisfied with my unit when I owned it

This unit..the RZ30 and if its comes back again, the Integra 3.4, have all been under $1K with Dirac onboard at no extra charge
I think there are less speakers than this can handle

Yes I realize all those Onkyo's can be found under $2k. I was responding to someone who recommended picking non-Onkyo
Yes I realize all those Onkyo's can be found under $2k. I was responding to 2 comments which recommended picking non-Onkyo. People like to trash a deal when posted, so my question is always, what does that person like if not this?
But that was an isolated limited availability situation from a particular dealer that sold to me and few others on AVS forum significantly below MSRP
You can buy an Arcam AVR11 for $1999 at Best Buy..or skip up to an AV21( which I would do) open box for a little more..$2242.00
Dirac onboard at no charge and to my ears more musical than any the Asian brands.
This might help, look under pros and cons.

The RZ30 has hit $700, for the extra $130 is a better buy ime.
Much newer with independent sub outs & access to Dirac's subwoofer/bass room correction software.
It drove a Primes setup with no problem for me.
Reviewer AR drove Ultras with no problem either.
It's a very capable unit.
As a matter of fact, depending on your setup, it can comparable to the RZ70.
Not needing the extra 2 channels of course.
You only pay for it if you want it.
The Cinema 50 is the least expensive unit that offers it.
The only real reason to go higher in model is for the extra channels.
Performance wise, it's small, especially for the much higher cost.
Nice thing about D/M they offer all 3 Dirac RCs(DL,DLBC,ART) & access to A1EVO.
A1 gives you pretty much the performance of DL & DLBC at no extra cost!
This is where not having to pay for Dirac unless you want too is very beneficial.

Assuming you're after Dirac, the RZ30 would be the better overall option for $700-$750.
Same performance, cost less, independent sub outs making Dirac's subwoofer RC(DLBC) more beneficial.
