Some of you guys in here should be ashamed! Arguing over a subwoofer!! I've had and I've listened to subwoofers from several high end brands, this klipsch sounds very good, it's built better than it's predecessor and for this price I believe it's a good buy. Do with your money what you want.

How about the HSU VTF-2 mk5 for $759? Is that a better buy?

"dual SVS3000 limp 25Hz subs"---so our boy "supermanrob" has the SB3000 not PB3000? ROTFL ... that makes perfect sense. He really is a helpless gullible rube, poor thing. Probably clicks on phishing email links too, LMAO LMAO LMAO
Supergirl thinks everyone needs a 13.4.6 system or else don't even try. Some people prefer a low profile sound bar in their living room, and yes they are starting to sound decent.. they outsell AVR set ups 10:1 for a reason. Superstank likes to take things out of context to fit his narrative because he needs to prove to everyone he knows what everyone needs. Talk to have about scientific measurements and he says its useless, yet that is all Dirac and ART do TAKE MEASUREMENTS. But when it comes to his gear that doesn't matter 🤣

Haven't read all the drama that has being going on, but it doesn't take rocket science to know that dedicated home theater speakers will sound better than a soundbar (yes they have improved over the years) but people need to know they're designed for 2 different consumers. A soundbar bar is for people that want a low profile setup or don't have enough space for a complete setup of speakers as they take more space or price as they're cheaper, and occasionally just watch movies through streaming services or casual tv. Wheres on the other hand those that have complete dedicated setup, those tend to have a collection of dvd/bluray/4k shows/movies and want to take advantage of a complete surround sound it will output. Like I said they're both good options and will sound good, but dedicated speakers/receiver will always be better.

Exactly. I nor anyone else said a soundbar sounds better than full fledged properly set up surround sound system. They are just solutions to fill people's different needs. He likes to claim I said soundbars are better and I don't like Dirac? Show me where I claimed that. I'll be waiting.

LOL it was your "well respected" post not mine!

So if all we need "CEA measurements" why do we need these "well respected" reviews especially if he's not going to be forthcoming!!!!

So we should "care" what some clueless person on the internet says over "well respected" person!!!

Having personal experience with both, I'm going with the "well respected" opinion, the 10" RSL is very good one to consider "in its price range".

Sorry but all CEA measurements tell me is capability, tells me zero how it will perform or sound in the "real world".
If it does for you, no debate there, that's your prerogative.
The CEA measurements of subwoofers clearly demonstrate what each one is CAPABLE of---what SPLs at what frequencies. The $1500 REL sub the other person brought up is clearly not anywhere as capable as the $500 RSL. It's as inarguable as the 0-60 acceleration numbers of two cars: Cold, hard FACTS.

Sorry if that's too much for your feeble brain to handle, lol ... but as I said, keep trying sweetie. 😉

Could not resist.

Pulled the trigger today when wife said why not?

Gotta love her.

One upgrade per year she gets it.

Now if SD had a deal on boob jobs I would be set. "Set". 😎
