Adobe is the devil . When they renew you it will be at full price. Avoid them unless you have no other options.

Want slicker? Switch to Affinity for free + Davinci for ~$300 one time. I've been an Adobe user for 15 years, and I don't miss it at all

I'm dealing with this now, thankfully I used a Privacy card so it just declined and Adobe is now holding my account hostage. I am considered "past due" so they won't let me change or even cancel my plan, or even see what the charge would even be.

I forgot to buy the black friday deal so I'm just going to let it lapse.

Is this not how discounted subscriptions usually work?

Try cancelling it. I think it's more expensive to cancel than subscribe

Years ago I signed up for an Adobe subscription with a privacy number so they couldn't continue to bill me, as I've done with many companies. I just let it lapse afterward since I only wanted it for a single month anyway. Adobe is the only company that's ever actually called me after a subscription lapsed like that, and the guy tried (pretty aggressively) to convince me that I had to pay my past due balance.
