I personally find the buttons on this calculator very difficult to push - I feel the casio fx-300es plus 2 is a much better calculator.

My son's algebra teacher only allows this version so at least for us - there was no choice. It was $9.48 on 07/16/2024 at Target on sale. the title for the product says SAT & ACT approved - that's probably the reason why this calculator is used

We've been in 3 school districts that require this exact one, unfortunately.

A couple bucks off normal price isn't a doorbuster, but every bit helps. Kids love to lose and break these...

The best calculator I ever used was the Casio with the constants and conversions. Lived on a single (good) battery from high school to grad school, under heavy use. Worth the premium, but these days calculators are somewhat outdated, and schools have strict requirements. I still use it sometimes, when it is faster than the phone.

These are great to have around your garage/shop. Much better (and far less expensive if damaged/destroyed) than using a calculator on your phone.

Absolutely ridiculously difficult to push. Forget touch typing--this will miss taps.

The TI-36X Pro (not the non-Pro) is the best calculator allowed on engineering exams. Much more functional, with solvers, multivariate memories, and other functions that will make your student's life much, much easier. I got a 4.0 AS and 3.759 BS with this and the TI-84 Color. Every bit helps.

These are what the middle school students are allowed to use and some high school students in specific classes. I'd pick up a dozen and give them to relatives in that age group for a stocking stuffer
