I know that we are getting screwed on RAM and this was probably $150 a month ago. Just not dumb enough to still buy their crap or even shill these products with their insane prices. When did paying at least 100 percent more for a product become a "slickdeal"?

Crucial is getting out of consumer grade RAM production. As much as this sucks, data centers are getting the good stuff and it's not really going to slow down any time soon. There's going to be a few of the larger suppliers switching gears like crucial because the AI memory gives higher margins.
