Massive pain to clean. You're better off with a food processor with large parts that are easy to clean.

I used one for many years until I wore it out. They haven't changed it over the years, and it's actually outstanding for mincing garlic without getting your fingers all garlicked up. The plastic blade cover does pop off/on with a click, so rinsing the blade is actually very easy. I switched to using a rechargeable mini garlic food chopper, but the Cuisinart is fine if you want a slap chop mincer and do a lot of garlic.
