Cast / acting was exceptional - male and female alike. RIP Ray Stevenson.
For those who don't know, this show was planned to run for four or five seasons. HBO told them halfway through the second season's filming that the show was going to be canceled. The show runners made a decision to try to wrap up the history of Rome in that short time.
