Project Farm on YouTube recently reviewed this along with many other toolkits and this one was a winner! Check it out!

This is a pretty good car tool kit just from a glance at what's included, has good socket selection and bits for days. No Allen keys to bloat the numbers up only real complaint would by the lack of a longer extension and maybe a flex head attachment. But for the price it's a good back up kit for your beaters

Edit. Checking the front page of Slickdeals there's a 105 piece craftsman's set that has the longer extension and flex head attachment for your ratchets I'd consider looking into that set as well if your in the market.

while I am a fan generally of NAPA tools, mostly due to the ease of replacing them under warranty since NAPA still has actual stores you can walk into unlike SEARS for craftsman tools. About the same quality on most of these anymore, its just this set is lacking 1/2 inch drive and wrenches almost completely. It would be better labeled as as socket set not a tool set

Different ratchets too.. the one linked here is 72 tooth and the one he reviewed is the 90 tooth. That 243 piece set look pretty sweet.. and not cheap.

That is 100 percent the way people should look at this. 40+ years ago I got my first "set" like this - a clamshell Craftsman set that unfolds nicely into tool chests and that I still use today. It cost me more back then, even ignoring inflation.

Seems OK but not great. The combination wrench set is far to limited to be useful. The socket set is OK but it would be nice to see 14mm in 1/4 drive. The ratchets are reasonably nice. If you look at this as a starter socket set without the combination wrenches, fine. The combo wrenches are so limited in size (doesn't include 1/2" which is common on house hold items) that you might as well presume they aren't included.

With Gearwrench just check country of origin.
Their Taiwan tools are good their China tools are junk.

Don't get me started on Project Farm.
It is a business that makes millions off your views and of course the same thing Slick Deals wants your afiliate link kickbacks.
It gives the illusion of being somewhat scientific and unbiased.
Even if he was unbiased his sample size of one is not remotely useful in the majority of the tests.
The individual products he chooses to represent the whole brand predetermine the outcome.
He mostly tests products that are sold on Amazon and if he cannot get affilate link money he refuses to provide a link or even the model information in the comments.
