Any recommendations on alternatives to Nikon FTZ II adapter for F mount lenses? Coming from a D300 with some AF-S G and full frames.

I have D90 and a few DX lenses. Between Z30, Z5 and D810, what would be the best upgrade option? Please help.

Just buy a used one, it's a simple metal ring with a chip in it.

D7500 if you don't shoot video. The refurbs go as low as $550 when on sale. You'll need new lenses if you go full frame. Depends what you shoot of course.

Get the Nikon adapter if you have a good set of lenses otherwise look into Z lens (50mm f1.8 and 40mm f2 are pretty inexpensive during sales). The 40 f2 is very compact and light weight.

Th Nikon FTZ II price has really gone up, I see a refurb on Nikon site for $200 and ebay's around that price. I paid $184 back in January from a 3rd party seller with no issue.

I bought the Z30 with 2 kit lenses earlier in the year, but I ended using the 24-70 f4, and 50 f1.8 more. I personally find the 50 f1.8 have better image quality than the 40 f2 but that's my personal opinion only.

Z5 is full frame and has a viewfinder, you need to consider if those are important to you, personally I will pick the z50II kit that is on-sale as well, it has the newer "brain".

In for the Z30 with the kit lens as my first mirrorless camera.

Coming from Nikon D600 and haven't been shooting for awhile now.

Looking to get a prime lens to go with the Z30. Is 24mm/f1.7 is the lens to buy?

Can't speak to exact lens, but since this is a DX crop Senor that 24mm will be close to the "nifty 50" equivalent and is very usable for people and everyday things. On my old DX7100 the DX 24mm prime was phenomenal value for the glass.

You're coming from full frame D600, not sure how nice glass you had on that. But I am a fan of the Nikon color reproduction and excited to use for video content now.

This is a crazy good deal. Think of it as a baby Lexus vs Toyota Corolla (Z30) . A full frame camera for less than $500 is something unheard of not long ago. And Nikon refurbished products are like new, or new, not beat up ebay stuff.

I had a Z30. I still have a 24/1.7, which behave like a 35mm on full frame. If you can live with a slightly larger camera, buy Z5 + 40f2 instead of. That's about $650 right now. You will gain fullframe, and also IBIS. ( image stabilization). If you still want to go DX route, that 24mm/1.7 is a good and small lens that can do wonder.
