It's for a certain model from over three years ago so nothing that should make you completely swear off this brand. I've been using multiple models with no issues

Just my understanding, but the only recall I'm aware of is for " Specific Batches BI-B41 10,000mAh Power Banks. Units bought on Amazon U.S. between August 2021 and April 2022 may be affected https://b41recall.iniushop.com/

FWIW, my personal experiences with 3 of their chargers have been Excellent. I like them for emergencies, and they hold their charge well. They take/give charges quickly and seem to have durable ports.

Great little charger. I bought one for my wife. She likes hers.

There is a big recall on this brand of chargers. Just a heads up.
To me that's a good sign. Some business owns up to their mistake and are ready to recall the product. This is far better than those Chinese brands having no accountability. Personally I haven't used iniu products though

Agreed. Anker has done a ton of recalls and their products are still largely good. I have used an INIU charging head and a 20k mAh battery around the world for years and they've never let me down. This is a crazy small power bank, I might grab it for backup.

There're already a disproportionate number of posts on this subject, basically there are risks with anything that has Li-Ion batteries inside, as far as official recall records in the CPSC.gov site, which is the federal government agency for recalls, INIU has less defects per units sold than some other respected brands including Anker. The unfortunate fact is there are risks, though small, but there are, just as you have in your phones and laptops and tablets that most of us don't think about, which also have recalls BTW.
