Sort of. The food contact areas, i.e., the interior pot "features EverGood Ceramic Nonstick Coating that's made without PFAS, PFOA, PTFE, lead, and cadmium".

if it chips and you eat that all bets are off.

Really great deal! Ordered a crockpot, a branded one from Kohl's for double the price during Black Friday and this is a better deal with higher ratings. Don't sleep on Bella. Some other products are pretty cheap but this one looks actually pretty good.

I got one of these the other week when they were on sale. Overall, it does the job fairly well for $35-40.

The 'crock' insert is very thin metal, not stone - may not retain heat as well outside of the cooker. It's marketed as being able to be placed on a stovetop burner for a sear (I haven't tried this out yet).
The biggest ding I'll give it is that the outside of the unit gets very hot while it's running. You can only use the handles (or very base) to move the unit, and I would be concerned it could melt something like a plastic bag if they were in contact for more than a handful of seconds/minutes (ex: if contents shift in a car during transport).
Not the worst looking thing either. A decent unit with a couple minor quips that so far aren't deal breakers.

Anyone know how much different the bella brand is vs crockpot brand?

not a big difference. Other brands have caught up to crockpot. Though I've never owned their stuff, I have a 18$ (on sale) 8 QT basic slow cooker from Walmart and it cooked for 5 hours pretty well (i stirred once an hour). Thank God, very happy with mine.

You could just use a regular slow cooker on a plug-in timer. The controls look like the type to die randomly.

True, but I miss eating a couple McDonald's double cheeseburgers after partying. There's no place for them in my diet anymore.
