Sure useful. This is suitable for those who wanted very light head unit and small/light footprint.
Problem: Even the battery choice is made with grain of lightness, so it is Lithium Polymer battery. This is why I don't want it.

btw and I see not the same, but similar sets of 3 for under $15, and not sure if the deal here has any hidden merits that I can't see:

I have these. They have come in handy. I have used them mainly when I'm bbqing briskets late into the night. Now I've used them for all kinds of things when I need more light, haven't had issues with them other than I sweat easy so having something on your head doesn't help that but that would be true for any headlamp.

have them, they last long enough on my night runs 2-3hours. nice cheap headlamps. no issues for the last year.

First time seeing the weight of a headlamp being compared to a chicken egg. LOL. I suppose it's a good comparison since it's assumed everyone has held a chicken egg at some point in their life.

Bought this same thing back in June 2023 for $15. Great deal. Used to buy name brand from REI but many of them run on AAA batteries. Awesome for the family on our camping trips. Also works great for taking the dog for a walk in the wintertime.

I'm pretty certain my unit is micro-USB so it looks like they upgraded it to USB-C which is awesome. Must be a relatively new upgrade.
