I have several Outward Hound puzzles. These Level 1's are way too easy. I'm not sure how they advertise it as "hours of fun". Even a small dog can knock the covers off in a few minutes and gobble all the food. I would only use Level 2 or higher.

There are several ways to play it with the pup. Try putting the game up on a 6 in platform. This makes the dog figure out he can't just knock them off like they were on the floor. Or, only place one treat in a cup on the board. Helps to develop scent work of its not always in every compartment.

This is hilarious. You could just put treats under a hand towel and it would be just as much of a puzzle and way easier to clean up.
