This kit includes two XC 6.0Ah batteries which have to be worth $100 alone, even at a super-conservative valuation ($8.30/Ah).

Just know they're the most likely M12 batteries to malfunction.

I got these a couple weeks ago. I wouldn't recommend them as your only drill/impact (except at this price, they're great), but if you have stronger tools already as backup, these are awesome and will cover 90% of tasks at lighter weight. downsides - the lack of a quick chuck on the impact is annoying, and the trigger modulation isn't as good as m12 surge (but nothing is)

No dice around me, as the other two posters combined mentioned, the XC6.0s are worth a decent penny, and should be sold as they're generally regarded as the least reliable M12 battery if you have any others.

This kit was one of Home Depot's Black Friday doorbuster deals.
I was interested in the tools but not the batteries.
I couldn't quite justify buying this kit in hopes of flipping the batteries. And now ebay is flooded with 6 ah batteries and drills and drivers.

The xc 6.0 battery will most likely fail after the warranty expires, depending how hard you're using the battery.

I returned this one even though it sold out at my store. I didn't like the idea of getting the worst M12 battery and an awkwardly big heavy one. At that. It doesn't match the slim minimalist profile of the tools

Stores show out of stock but I went in and they were on near the gift deals section. Ringing at the clearance price.

I must be lucky, I have had both of my XC 6.0 M12's ever since 2017 and still use both till this day. One has been used so much the retaining clips broke, so while it still works, it doesnt hold itself very good when plugged into a tool. Not saying they aren't bad since these have been known to go bad but I have yet to run into any M12 battery issues. M18 XC 8.0 on the other hand......

You should upgrade to the fuel if these non-fuel are what you are using.

What's the deal with the 6ah batteries? Why are they so prone to failure? This is the 1st I've seen that. Just curious.
