Used to work at a skate shop. I wouldn't give my kid this if I got it for free. Walmart completes are a great way to make sure your little one never wants to skate. They barely roll, have no pop, and will be taking up space in the garage before you know it. IF you go with one of these, go to a skate shop and grab some bearings. It's hard to learn with a board that can't roll very well.

Yeah, but $12.
Solid option for a kid that thinks they want a skateboard, but constantly cycle through interests in things.
If your kid loves skating, buy a better model and are out less later.
If your kid hates skating, you aren't out much money-wise and you made the effort.
Either way, you view this as an experiment that you wind up hopefully donating or, depending on the quality, throwing in the trash.
