This would not be a bad set up for a board game group. The edges would keep dice from rolling off the table. Hmm...

You'd probably want a square or octagon table with 4x4 playing space. Don't usually need so many seats at one table for a board game, and this isn't big enough for 2. This would work better for RPGs, considering you got a DM + 4-6 players.

I received the LED lights version yesterday. This table is a beast. Very well made and sturdy. Walmart had it packaged good, that was in two separate boxes. The led lights are super bright. I'm going to get a dimmer switch for it. Overall I'm happy with it!

I originally paid $199 but the price dropped again from OP post, so I'm returning the first one and receiving it again since Walmarts pricing policy doesn't allow me to get an adjustment on the new lower price unfortunately.

Walmart.com says "Returnable to store? No. Special return instructions: Freight items cannot be returned at store."
Really wish there was a simpler way to price match and save the $30.

Bring items to customer service. No repackaging or printed label required.
Show the return barcode on your phone.
That's it! An associate will finalize your return.

I got an email stating my return instructions.

Get the new table and take that to return desk and show them the higher price receipt.

Are there multiple colors for the LED lighting? Is it battery powered or is there an A/C plug?

I didn't come with a controller to change the color. It was just blue like the picture. It's powered with an A/C plug. I did read in the old threads from previous deals where others attached a battery back to it. I just used my jackery explorer 1000 to power it in the middle of the room for the time being. Plus friends can use the power station to charge phones, tablets and what not as well. Serves another purpose rather than just using it for camping season now!
