I got the Taste of KFC for $5 and was able to get the free chicken sandwich using the promo code. (Redeemed in Colorado)

I remember when they had a survey on the receipt for a free chicken sandwich with the purchase of a drink( which was cheaper than the sandwich) I would take the survey with the drink receipt and get the sandwich, I did that almost every day of the week for about a year, I wish the promotion was still running.

I'm not proud of it, but I got the deal. I'm so full now 😩. I could have made 2 meals out of it. Totally destroy what Taco Bell can do for under $6.

After having tried several fast food restaurants over the last few months and being shocked by the prices relative to the portion sizes (Auntie Anne's pretzel, especially, was an absolute joke), I must say this KFC chicken sandwich seemed like a solid value for what they serve. This is a good deal.

The other day, walked into a KFC near me to try the $5 Pot Pie I keep hearing advertised on the radio and come to find out that location doesn't participate in promotions and wanted to charge me $8, so I told them I don't participate in supporting stores that don't participate in advertised offers and walked out. So another location near me does participate and has the $5 Pot Pies but they don't offer sandwiches so can't use the offer. Anyone else encounter that? Maybe that particular store doesn't like ordering Bun or pickles??

It works but damn, KFC sandwich is nothing close to Chick Fil A or Popeyes. Even a spicy Mc Chicken tastes better.

Did anyone write Spicy McChicken?

That was by far, the best spicy chicken sandwich I have ever eaten and it was here way before the chicken sandwich wars. If you want that similar taste, I feel like Arby's Spicy Chicken sandwich is close. I am going to miss that chicken sandwich from Carl's Jr.
