Costco is a plus IMO.
3yr Warranty can drop it off at costco for refund if it is a dud.
firman is heavier partially mitigated by wheels depending on use.
Usually you need almost 2hp to get 1000w.. nextpow is getting 5-6hp? out of 98cc motor..
The firman is 171cc which is what I would expect for 6hp.
The propane option you can run it in a pinch off propane that never goes bad (infinite storage)
or switch to propane before shutting down to dry out carb for storage... and avoid carb issues.
I always have 2-3 20# tanks for grilling and utility use.
The nexpow is not bad and has its place esp. if you want a tiny generator.
For house emergency use or where you have enough room the firman is likely to lead a much longer life.
Many of these can be advantage/disadvantage for types of use.
How is the warranty service from nexpow?

Both are better than my AI power 2200w gen.. but I only paid $200 for and it got me through 19 power outages this year (thanks firstenergy )

I'd probably go with the firman dual fuel at costco for 299 over this.

That's what I decided too, easy return policy if needed and a better known brand online if I have questions or issues to research.

Definitely. If someone is using it for a camper, this thing is almost half the weight of the Firman. The Nexpow 3k watt version that runs the 98cc clone is 41bs and 300 presently. For any of the cheapie 2-3k inverter gensets it seems like you can get 5600-6k watts of power for 100lbs vs the firman. Specific use case for sure. In my instance, I've spent an extra mid 4 figures to keep the weight down on my camper, but am satisfied.

Firman is louder, heavier, does not include the propane tank, and requires a $65 Costco membership. This NEXPOW model is a steal. Consistently $700+ everywhere else.

Is $1060 really the normal price? Seems suspect
