Got it down to $485.99 before tax with military discount but still not so sure this is such a good deal.

Confirmed working for EPP via Shop Samsung app. Be careful though, as you get what you pay for, but owning an 85" under $1000 is unheard of just a few years ago. Comes to think how much general TV prices has came down with technology advancement on top of today's currency inflation.

Is this FP simply because the deal is the price for size? Because all of the other specs seem very meh.

Admittedly, a low-end panel from Samsung running Tizen OS is probably better than any other low-end panel / OS combo and if you need a TV now and just want the biggest screen your dollar will get you, this isn't a bad choice.

I'm still holding out for a TCL 75QM6 variant to come back around $700. I missed out on that particular deal a couple of weeks ago because my TV only decided to crap itself after the deal had passed
