Maybe I'm wrong, but buying directly from them gives you a 90-day warranty versus two years going through their eBay store? Seems better to spend $50 more for 21 more months of warranty.

This is through the Second PIty website, not ebay so your credit won't work.
what about the overall question of difference between the xm4 and xm6?

I am looking for the best noise canceling headphones with the least amount of noise getting through as possible. Because of this i don't care about sound quality right now.
What would be best for that, the Bose QC2 or these?
I've tried both. It's very close, but I give the edge to Sony. The Bose have a little more buzz, I feel. The XM6 are the closest I've experienced to complete silence at this price point.

I still find xm4 more comfortable on my big head.
xm5 and xm6 headbands hurt after a while.

I found a 10% off coupon on some random website that worked for a pair of XM4s. Final price was $135 after tax.

I have 6yr old bose nc700 and just got XM6 for BF thinking i'll see some crazy improvement, but they just feel cheap compared to old bose, there is no dramatic improvement in sound either . And plastic is all scuffed after wearing couple times in a home office. They are most likely going back.
Had the XM2 now NC700 and was considering this upgrade. May just hold on to the Bose!

In for 1. Got the coupon to work.

Upgrading from the XM5.

Immediately after buying they offered a second pair for $200. I didn't buy but FYI for others. I paid $224.99 plus tax.

worth reselling my xm4s for $100-ish and upgrading for $150? or not? i have $125 in ebay credit so upgrade would be basically free? not sure, seemed like not a huge leap forward?
Didn't realize my XM4's are worth that much. I maybe used mine for less than 10 total hours. Never liked them.

This or the bose Ultra?
I have been comparing both side by side, I just returned the Ultra 2.

Interested in your reasons for one over the other.
