This is a code-in-a-box, as the cover says, not a physical cartridge, but still a slick price for four games, and probably a historic low for them on the Switch

I played through both in switch. They weren't bad but they show their age.

Their download servers are still active even for 3DS and Wii. You can download games you purchased. You just can't buy anything else. I imagine it'll be the same for the Switch in the future.

Four might be. AC3 lies on the back of the Ezio trilogy, and while there's a good catchup intro, there's a lot of history that drives it. It is intended to be the capstone on the overall story for the first... 6 games? AC, Bloodlines, Altair's Chronicles, ACII, AC: Brotherhood, AC: Revelations. Liberation is a spin-off from 3, but less lore-heavy. Black Flag has more than a few callbacks, but mostly capable of standing alone, and Rogue is kind of a spinoff from that. On the whole, playing the earlier entries will provide a more flavorful experience, but you can dive in just knowing the basics: There are two shadowy organizations: the Assassin Brotherhood and Templar Order at ideological odds, and a lot of stabbing.

Would be tempting if I didn't own these on Xbox, at least a couple. Black flag was one of my favorite games I've ever played, 100% worth playing, although like another commenter said, it shows its age at this point but still looks pretty good and is an incredible game. Was ahead of its time.

Worth it if you want to give the old games a try--I loved all three of them but even the III/Rogue remasters definitely show their age. Rogue has a decent storyline but it is very clearly made with 90% reused elements from III and Black Flag, but it has more ship combat and let's be honest, that's the fun part Smilie
Also worth noting that based on ratings and sales listings going up, UbiSoft is almost certainly going to announce a full remake of Black Flag this week so if you've never played it, may be worth waiting a little.
