That's actually one of the most annoying things about purchasing a digital TV series. It's currently locked to a single provider, and barring a major disruption in how they are licensed, likely always will be.
That makes these partial deals even more annoying because for a given series you might end up with seasons 1-5 on Apple from one deal, seasons 6-10 on Fandango from another, etc.
It's one of the reasons that I usually don't bother with TV shows until their end of their run. Fortunately, there are only a handful that have 10 or more seasons and are still running to worry about.
Then again, you always run the risk of something like King of the Hill or Futurama being resurrected over a decade or more later.
There are a few long running series where there's some gap between "boxed set" deals and the sweet deal I got years ago.

Anything beyond season 6 is something nobody should ever need or want. That is when they ran out of Simpsons plots and Python gags, and it just became a bunch of lame, pushy, fake edge jokes, and preachy, split the difference BS. Worse even than Family Guy, and doing very much the same thing. Oceans 11 + Obama + ... + a hangover = profit. If there is anything to complain about is that they make you pay for 4 seasons of rubbish.
P.S.
Chef + Star Wars + pedos + Scientology = lame. That was a dead giveaway that they have run out of ideas and were just feeding the Manatees, while accursing someone else of doing the same, so as to divert attention from themselves. Picking legitimate but soft targets, the playbook of bullies and hypocrites. I used to like this show, but I managed to deprogram myself. You can find all that in S10 by the way, and if you ever choose to become a satirist, have some ambition and artistic integrity and pick on the strong, the dangerous, the privileged and the overrated.
"It depicts several religious figures, including Muhammad, whose appearance at the time of the original airing led to little to no controversy. Following outrage from Muslims regarding Muhammad's portrayal in the 2010 episodes "200" and "201", the South Park Studios website no longer streams "Super Best Friends", nor is it available for streaming or purchase from online stores."
