I have an existing Blink Outdoor 4 Camera system with the older Sync Module 2 which has local storage via a usb slot. So no need for a subscription. I will just add the 1 Outdoor 4 Camera + 1 Mini 2 Camera to my existing Sync Module 2 for recording video clips when motion is detected. The Sync Module 2 can have up to 10 devices connected. I just buy the cameras and not use the included Sync Module Core.
Keep in mind that the included Sync Module Core is junk because it does not have local storage. There is a big difference between the older Sync Module 2 which has local storage via a usb slot and the new Sync Module Core which does not have local storage.

I have 15 or so cameras and I am continually surprised at how poor the image quality is and how buggy the overall system is.
Don't expect much from it and you won't be disappointed.
