HDX. when you click on the movie some say 4K. But when you hit purchase, they're listed as HDX. I didn't buy so I can't confirm of the add as 4K or HDX.

Same...I might be able to cobble together a list of 5 if they were guaranteed 4k, but this is unsettling

It literally states in the title of the promotion that they are HD. Anything that gets upgraded from there is a bonus, but not guaranteed.

I know someone has a list that shows what titles typically get upgraded, but it isn't always guaranteed unless it is stated in the promotion itself.

That's irrelevant to the promotion itself. They are telling you what you are getting. I don't understand what is so hard about that for people.

Like yes, I do want the 4k upgrade too, but I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a batch of these and only received HDX with zero upgrades.

Update on my post:

I just got an email from Fandango, all three movies have been upgraded to 4K for free.

The purchase will give you the HDX version with the option to upgrade later for a fee.
