I have both these and 2 mic version and haven't really noticed any significant difference between them that makes it worth paying more for the 4 mic version.

I think the advantage is the sound cancellation will still kick in if one of the mics is covered. I imagine this could happen once in awhile if you're wearing bulky clothing and shooting in different positions. Probably something that isn't a problem for most users, but you would know it, if it happens to you.

I returned a pair of these because the sound was mono. I couldn't tell what direction the sound was coming from, it was all the same. 4 mics for mono audio, what a joke.
