I got this deal earlier this year. I'm very impressed by the drill especially. Very lightweight, great attachments for awkward angles.

Sell the oscillating tool on fb marketplace for $50, so the Bosch chameleon installation driver will be $100.

I dunno anything about the multitool, but the Bosch line of brushless 12V tools is awesome. Too many people lug around more power than they need 95% of the time. The improvement in comfort and ergonomics is enough that you won't mind having to find another solution for the edge cases.
Obviously, if you're pushing a more powerful tool to the limit more often than not, this comment is not for you, but most people aren't, and I think most people don't realize how capable the better 12V tools have become.

I have the oscillating tool, and honestly I hate it. I'm heavily invested into Bosch tools, but the Oscillating tool uses "starlock" blades and most other tools use a more generic blade attachment style that is incompatible. Starlock isn't proprietary to Bosch, but it's not commonly adopted so the reality is that only Bosch blades work. They're fine, but they're crazy expensive and don't last longer than generic Harbor Freight blades. I ended up buying a cheap HF oscillating tool and I use that instead.

Especially the newer brushless models like this Bosch and the Milwaukee M12 Fuel line. They can easily punch on par with standard 20v models, I've had contractors be genuinely shocked at how capable they are and immediately buy a few for smaller jobs. For small handyman projects it's awesome to have such light and ergonomic kit. I had originally gotten into the Bosch 12v as a stopgap before stepping up to Dewalt XR, but the XRs just sit unused. The little Bosches can handle almost anything in the house and you literally can't feel them on your belt. Another plus is you can find replacement batteries pretty cheaply (either offbrand or eBay repacks).

I've had this drill since 2018 (though I think mine is a brushed version) and wanted to chime in saying it's a good buy. Both batteries still work well. It's gotten a decent amount of hobbyist use. I've build a deck, garden boxes, garage shelves, etc. It goes through 2x4s and their cousins pretty well, though I'd say if you're doing them regularly you should get an 18v tool. The cabinet attachment has saved me grief a couple of times, which is worth money. So I'd get the drill again. The only con with the drill is that the drilling interchangeable head sometimes slips off after use, slightly unlocking itself. I've had to learn to relock it after use, before swapping bits. Kinda dumb and maybe just a flaw with my particular drill, but not a big deal.

If you don't yet know if you need a multitool - you'd probably enjoy having one. It's nice for small, precision cuts on things that are already mounted: vinyl on the side of house, moulding and floors, reshaping various things by removing parts of them, cutting off heads of nails and screws, cutting through metal grates, etc. I don't have this one but it's probably good, and a multitool is one of those those "what was I doing before I got one?" things.

I took advantage of the Paypal 20% offer over BF/CM and bought into the M12 line after primarily using Ryobi 18V for the last 7 years as a DYI Homeowner. Haven't had a chance to use the M12 FUEL multi-tool or brushless rotary tool yet, but I'm genuinely impressed by the power + form factor of the M12 drill & driver that I've used for a few things already.
It was down to the Bosch 12V or M12 line, and ultimately I went M12 simply due to a wider range of tools in the lineup. I've only ever heard good things about the Bosch line, and comparatively this looks like a solid deal since the M12 FUEL drill + driver has only been down to $170 (once recently) or normally on sale around $200. The M12 FUEL multi-tool can be as much as this kit alone.
I've also read the 12v Dremel rotary tools can use Bosch batteries and vice-versa as Bosch owns them. Dunno why they don't advertise that more.

I'd be all over this if I didn't have an m12 drill or hadn't scored the Fuel multitool. You can get lucky with m12 if you're patient on marketplace.

Bought this recently as well. 100% for the quick change driver. Love the driver and how easy it is to change from impact to the different drills. It is bulkier and heavier than the older Bosch drill driver that were separate tools but not by much. Just the offset and 90 makes this worth it.

The multi tool what I like is that it has adjustable speed control not just on/off. The multi blade attachment system sucks. You have to undo it with an allen key for removal or for adjusting the attached blade angle position. If Bosch had a quick-change like the DeWalt 20v multi it would be killer. Maybe there is a company that makes a quick-change replacement for this?

I bought this for the same price this past summer, but it looks like they've added some kind of storage box for the heads I'm guessing. I wish they would make a hard case for these tools like they used to many years ago. Overall, I'm very happy with the tool, but for some reason, it makes a lot more noise than my previous Bosch 12V brushless (non-chameleon) drill/driver. It's a louder, higher pitched whirring than before. Not a deal breaker, but slightly annoying.

The reality is the oscillating bits overall are actually significantly better, they transfer more torque to the bit, and it cuts better. I have used both the normal cheap style ones, and the Bosch beats it hands down. Using a multi-tool comes with it's own technique, and that is the part you have to learn.

Their Dremel hand saw, the one that uses the 12v battery, that thing is neat, but bosch didn't want to "leach" / "steal" from one brand for another. I think they should just sell "Dremel sub(A Bosch Brand) underneath their logo or something, to demonstrate to people wondering if there is battery compatibility, which I believe there is. Dremel 12v & 18v tools are both compatible.
