Important to also note that PFOA is just one of thousands of PFAS chemicals that can be just as harmful. If that's important to you I'd look for something that is certified as PFAS-free (to include all other fluorinated substances)

Induction sets are expensive this seems like a solid price. One pan usually costs around $15-20

Is there another option that's as non-stick? I understand the risks and the "add-a-molecule-to-change-the-name-to-call-it-non-pfoa" game, but we baby these when we use them and pitch then when inevitable the nonstick begins to lose effectiveness. The $30/6 months is fine, but that's a lot of waste we'd like to find a better option. I'm looking for something to quickly and conveniently fry eggs in 2 times a day with a quick cleanup, something these support quite well. Cast iron is not the answer.

Stainless steel. Use a little olive oil AND a little bit of butter. Very nonstick. I use it every morning. Cleans easily

Not sure what your stainless steel pan is, but I can't fry an egg on stainless steel no matter how much butter and oil I use
