I stumbled upon this at Microcenter yesterday. Very pleased with the performance (3.8gb/s read, 3.1 gb/s write). Cooling seems adequate, comparable to the similar ugreen TB4 model I had. Another nice feature is that it is toolless and one of the easier of these high speed enclosures to change nvme drives.

Now that I'm using it a bit, I'm not so sure about the heat dissipation. The nvme is heating up quickly, even simply attached to the computer without heavy reads or writes. I use a small desk fan to cool things off during heavy use, but if you plan to connect this and leave it connected you might be disappointed with the heat.

I felt this a common issue with nvme SSD and maybe also for any nvme enclosure too ?

It is definitely an issue, which is why these USB 4/Thunderbolt 4 enclosures are so bulky. Some are better than others at dissipating the heat. I have tried these high speed enclosures from Ugreen, Zike, and now this inland. I would say that heat dissipation went in that order, with the Ugreen handling the heat best.

If you get it, let us know how it handles the heat and whether the fan noise is acceptable.

It's good to see people using USB 4/ thunderbolt 4. I have a motherboard that supports thunderbolt 4, but I have to buy a riser for it. Hopefully, it will become more standard on computers soon.
