It's really quiet, surprisingly durable, and moves a lot of air for the amount of noise it makes. Plus it has 10 speed settings and comes with a decent enough remote. The base is also weighted and very stable. Being a DC fan, there's also no annoying humming sound.
I have a tiny DC vornado 133DC under my desk that I paid $35 for -_- it doesn't hum either but I think the amazon fans are a better use of money lol. The 133DC is such a cute little fan though!
Hmm outside of that, I'd say Honeywell fans are usually okay, Holmes fans usually fall apart after a year or two, and I hate Lasko fans and would never recommend them to anyone - they're way too loud and their stand fans are usually 100% plastic so they wobble.

Given the context I don't think you're talking about this model.. but the DC motor amazon basics fan is THE best fan I've used, and I've used a lot of fans lol.

Honestly at the higher speeds, the 133DC makes a similar amount of noise to an HT900. But my HT900 rattles when it's tilted too far forward instead of up lol.
