What's the difference between these categorized as steel and the 14 piece set categorized as black oxide? DWA1195 vs DWA1184 . Is it as simple as different sizes and duplicates or is there a reason the sets are categorized differently on HD?

The categories "black and gold", "other" and "steel" all seem to be the same bits within their black and gold lineup just with different sizes and quantities. I don't think Home Depot is purposefully categorizing them differently.

According to the Internet the black and gold have a titanium nitride (?) coating, more resistant to heat and friction than the black oxide and usually more expensive.

That's what it seemed like to me, too. Thanks for the confirmation.
