I agree it's louder than his wife in bed.
But, it works and gets the job done.
The first batch is always small, but gets bigger the longer it runs.
I usually dump the first load of ice back into the tank because it's too thin. I like the thicker ice because it lasts longer and won't water down my drink.
I purchased the extended warranty with mine, but it never gave me any trouble.
I use it in an office, so it's used frequently, but honestly not every day. Either way, I'd pass on the extended warranty.
