My guess is that things close to your hands would be hard to see because of the washout of the bright LEDs directly in your vision at least for those of us with aging eyes. 2xCR2016 batteries per glove seems inconvenient to me. Intriguing though.

I wonder if these would come in handy as a flashlight when you need both hands and don't have a headlamp available.
