Also 50mg of zinc daily is a lot.

Risk of copper deficiency, so take it with copper, reduce dosage, or take it less frequently.

I only like having it around if I start to get a cold. I start taking it immediately. It usually knocks it out or reduces my cold symptoms down to 2 days. Many cold medicines have zinc. Cold-Eeze is good but ruins your taste buds. Also, chewable vitamin C way less expensive than Airborne or Emergen-C.
