Yea, the reviews are useless. For $30 it seems very good to me, however. Weighs almost 10lb which means it must be somewhat substantial. Also, while not super powerful at 600 CFM, it's about 1/2 the price of the closest competitor with the same power. It's also got two power outlets and a 14 AWG / 10 ft. length cord which is decent quality.
One of the reviews shows the amperage from the side of the box at 1.8A, so about 218 watts. Someone asked a question about the amps and the manufacturer, Alton Industries, responded that it is 5.3A - which I believe is incorrect based on the CFM rating.
