Buyer beware, this manufacturer has gone put of business. No warranty and they didn't even honor a recall for this product to thousands/millions(?) Of their paying customers:

"BlendJet Inc. is officially out of business as of mid-2025, meaning they are no longer honoring the massive recall for their BlendJet 2 blenders due to fire/laceration hazards, leaving many customers without promised replacements despite the company's initial pledge and active recall website. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) now states the company is defunct, and the recall remedy is unavailable, so owners should discard the product and not expect replacements.
Key Details:
Recall Issued (Dec 2023): A recall for 4.8 million BlendJet 2 blenders was issued for fire and laceration risks (overheating, blades breaking).
Customers Promised Replacements: Users were instructed to cut the O-ring and send a photo to receive a new base, but many waited months or years without receiving them.
Company Ceased Operations (Mid-2025): BlendJet Inc. went out of business, abandoning the recall process.
Official Confirmation: The CPSC's recall page and other sources confirm BlendJet is out of business, and the remedy is no longer available.
What to Do: If you own a recalled BlendJet 2, the official advice is to stop using it and discard the product as replacements are not coming."

No you didn't. You'll use it twice and then it will sit in a cupboard until you donate it.

Like the other user said, I absolutely wanted nothing to do with the BJ2 after I researched it.

I bought Drew Barrymore's Beautiful knockoff blender which was about 15 dollars at the time. 3 years later and it still works fine and I have kept all of my fingers

I went through like 4 of these things, maybe in 2021? They all inevitably stopped working after a couple months. FWIW their customer service (at the time) was fine with continuously sending me new units. It worked OK. It's not super great at blending, I wanted an easy way to make protein shakes and if I didn't get a decent ratio of liquids to solids in there it would jam up, or just kind of spin everything around and not blend.
I took my last one apart and the way that the charge port is attached is extremely flimsy which I imagine led to all the various failures. At $15 for a blender that works for a couple months I guess you could do worse. I eventually bought a Ninja nutri-blender and that thing has been great.

They don't appear to be bankrupt, at least their website is working fine. Maybe another company bought their assets?
