Dang! I wish the u7 lite was on sale. The u7 pro offers nothing additional that would benefit the cost for me. Except... maybe because a little extra range on 5ghz.
I was about to comment that this is old news but it looks like some items that were out of stock for BF/CM are available now, such as the UXG-fiber Gateway Fiber. I got it for about $65 less than I paid B&H for a Like New unit on Dec 1. Thanks for the clutch link!

Gateway Lite for $50 seems like a great deal. Debating this and Gateway Max (which is now 4x the price), which doesn't seem to go on sale.
That does not have the controller app built in, so you need a cloud key to control it. Any thing start with UXG needs a cloud key. UCG has the controller built in
Any suggestions on their camera ecosystem? I'd like to get one for under the soffit in front of the house to test out, but I'm baffled by their different form factors which all seem to have the same FOV and resolution - with some minimal variation in IR range.

Correct, I already have the controller running elsewhere (used to be cloud key gen1, now just running as a container on a server).

Absent from the holiday-offer page itself is the Cloud Gateway Max with 512GB SSD for $179 (regularly $279), and cheaper than the No Storage option that's still $199:

Given a 512GB NVME SSD costs ~$80 today, that's only about $100 for the UCG-Max itself.
