According to the specifications on their website, the EAP720 model does not have a 6Ghz radio. So, only dual band (2.4Ghz & 5Ghz).

They really don't have more than other companies, they just made a ton of budget routers so they were targeted for that reason - wide availability. If you actually look into it, it's not a big deal.

The TP-Link ban suggested in government is a load of bs, everyone in IT knows this. Every single router and internet appliances are assembled in China, even the American brands like Cisco and Ubiquiti. The legislation was being proposed because Chinese brands were offering similar hardware at rock bottom prices and American brands can't compete with the high prices they are asking despite still making their products in China. If they really cared about security then they wouldn't be manufacturing in China, where a factory has full access to flash any chip on the board with malware.
