Just curious, why would you buy this over a mini pc (like minisforum, etc) that's half the price?

Honestly, I'm not a tech guy so I'm not prepared to debate anything when it comes to this subject. What would you recommend that meets the same specs and includes 11 Pro (which was a separate requirement).
**additionally, I travel occasionally for work and hook up to hotel screens via hdmi so the smallest computer works best for me (can be mobile similar to a laptop). I do not enjoy working off of a laptop screen.

We had (20 of) an older version of this exact unit. Rock solid for 5 years.

We just upgraded to Minisforum units and replaced all of our old Lenovo PCs. Much better price / performance ratio.

Peeps may not agree for personal reasons, but the Minisforum were right for us.

Better security and support. If you are a enterprise level business that kinda of stuff is important and worthwhile to pay for. Good luck getting Minisforum to respond to a tech support ticket lol.

But for myself I'm going with a Minisforum or GMKTek 100%.

For personally use, that's the way to go. Save some money for something else (like a graphic card if the unit supports Oculink!)
