Just curious, why would you buy this over a mini pc (like minisforum, etc) that's half the price?

Honestly, I'm not a tech guy so I'm not prepared to debate anything when it comes to this subject. What would you recommend that meets the same specs and includes 11 Pro (which was a separate requirement).
**additionally, I travel occasionally for work and hook up to hotel screens via hdmi so the smallest computer works best for me (can be mobile similar to a laptop). I do not enjoy working off of a laptop screen.

We had (20 of) an older version of this exact unit. Rock solid for 5 years.

We just upgraded to Minisforum units and replaced all of our old Lenovo PCs. Much better price / performance ratio.

Peeps may not agree for personal reasons, but the Minisforum were right for us.

Better security and support. If you are a enterprise level business that kinda of stuff is important and worthwhile to pay for. Good luck getting Minisforum to respond to a tech support ticket lol.

But for myself I'm going with a Minisforum or GMKTek 100%.

For personally use, that's the way to go. Save some money for something else (like a graphic card if the unit supports Oculink!)

let's take a look of thinkcenter M600 Tiny, a machine released in 2016. you could still find the BIOS update published as late as 2023.

let's take a look at misinform, a brand established in 2017, and has only been on the stage since 2021 with things like hx90 minipc, you know where are the drivers and BIOS updates for HX90?

yeap. not even listed in the list of offical products anymore. you could google a dev page listing BIOS drivers with expired certs, and was only as recent as 2022, one year after the HX90 debut.

for home PC, sure. but for business?
