Probably not a good deal at this point in time but i got this set for my dad in 2014 or 15 and its still going strong lol. Batteries still holding a charge as well.

The Base base model. 10+ years old at this point and I've noticed they are starting to even phase them out of some of the 7 & 10 tool kits that they used to always be in.

These are brushed units, you can find 10 sets on your local Craigslist and (without the irrelevant bit set at least) it's not hard to find a much better brushless kit for around this price point. For the love of God people, stop buying this set and let it die.

Best drill atm is DCD1007 and impact driver they are all within spitting range of each other 845B, 850B etc. I would rather get the better tools and pay a little bit more. 1 of these 2 batteries and charger on sale now at $199.
