Sure, it's Gen 1 but the seller appears to be good, has a warranty, can be returned, and slickdeals history doesn't appear to show a lower price.

I would say yes. Even these first generation models are still extremely capable smartwatches that are ruggedly built and easy to use, at the top of Apple's line and still on par with the newer high end offerings from Samsung and the other big brands in this space.

Ultra came out in sept 2022 and series 11 came out in sept 2025. That's pretty big gap. I prefer cellular might just wait for deal on series 11

I bought a 46mm classic 4 Samsung watch on eBay for $40 that came out in sept 2021. A year before the ultra but this ultra is still worth $300? I know it's a superior watch but still pricey after being out for awhile

Yes, still a great watch. I usually upgrade my stuff all the time, but I've had the Gen 1 since the day it came out, wear it every day, and I'm still wearing it. By the end of the day I still have 50% battery left when I put it on the charger (note I'm not cool so I don't get a ton of notifications and stuff on it).
