I just received this yesterday. Looks new, unused. Packaged well in brown box. I'm not familiar with stick, cordless vacuums, but am impressed with the power of this thing. Lots of attachments. Comes with 6 month Dyson warranty, plus 2 year allstate. It does have a small dirt cannister, that fills up fast ( probably doesn't reflect well on my houses cleanliness, lol ), but it might be an issue over time with having to empty it often. The rotating head struggles on matted or soiled carpet (setting it to ECO mode helps that), but our 20 year old belt drive Dirtdevil does too. Transissions well from carpet to hard surfaces. No idea yet on runtime, as we just ran it a bit over multiple surfaces, to check it out. The little ball makes it easy to manuver around corners, and such. I'll give it a few days and decide if this is what I'm really looking for.

The "torque drive" is supposed to prevent that carpet struggle from happening. If it still does, their should be a red switch on the front of then brush to adjust the height slightly. Try increasing it.
