My wife ordered one of these Stanley bottles from Amazon and they shipped it in one of their paper envelopes. It arrived dented so she did an exchange and the second one shipped the same way and arrived with an even bigger dent. We ended up buying one in store.

Was it shipped and sold by amazon or a third party? I have ordered many water bottles (from amazon direct) and always have been in a manufacture box.

These are terrific bottles, we have about 6-8 and never had much issue besides minor denting of the base if they get dropped.

They're thin enough to fit almost any cupholder or backpack side pouch, but the extra height and narrow base makes them a little top-heavy when full.
