You must have the required segment "Loyalty BYOD Dec 2025" in order to qualify for Service Promo with New Line (ID250791) / SP158. Like before, this is BYOD only but you can always finance new devices via upgrades on other existing lines.

Success: Just activated my line. Although I have no phone at the moment. I just asked them to send me a new SIM card. Paid the $10 activation fee. I used their chat system and the above info:
"Was wondering if my account qualifies for the segmented Free Line. "Lotalty BYOD Dec 2025" Promo ID250791 / SP158"
T-M: "Thank you for your patience. I have great news! We have double-checked, and you are indeed eligible for the loyalty discount for December, which is a free line discount. Sounds good?"

A new DP!! 😍

Same Simple Choice with 2 paid lines and 3 free lines (2 phone, 1 hotspot). Used to be 4 free lines but I did one of the free 5G phone offers with credits and they started charging me $20 so I ported it out. I need to keep the actual number so I will attempt to port it back in to one of my free lines. If I had been eligible for this free line I would have ported in to it. Oh well.
update: Promo showed up on T-Life and I reached out to T-Mobile and got the free line.

Don't try the Tmobile its horrible call center hours of hours wait and international call activate without customer request and it will charge you without any reason. Be careful

I'm assuming the additional $5 per line on the bill will apply to this as it did with the previous freebie lines.
free line but has tax so it's about 4-6$

Does anyone know if there is a way to replace an existing paid TMO line with a free line while keeping the same phone number? If so, what is the easiest and most efficient way? TIA
The most important part is find out your anniversary for the free line. After your one year anniversary of any free lines. You can pour out a pay line to another carrier. I have used US Mobile with their free trial . You can then port back in over the free line. Using this technique, I have managed to rack up five free lines out of 10. With none going to waste.

it took me 6 months of calling until I finally got mine resolved. mine wasn't even lost in UPS. it was delivered to T-Mobile in Texas but then I never got any text about the trade in being completed. Then a month later i started getting charged full price for the new phone. 6 months of 1 hour phone calls each and it wasn't resolved. They couldn't find the phone and kept telling me it will be resolved in 1-2 business days and I'd be called back. Which never happened. Then I contacted T-Force on X and it was resolved in one attempt.Don't even bother calling, go straight to T-Force on X.It seems like the people on the phone are out of the country, probably recently hired and they are trained to lie. The T-Force people on X seem to be the people who have worked at T-Mobile for a long time and actually know everything and are actually helpful.
I agree T force on access has helped me every single time they're friendly fast and efficient. Highly recommend recommended.

Start by first finding out what your current plan SOC is. Self service:1) Login to your T-mobile account on your internet browser. The url after you login will be
Code:
https://www.t-mobile.com/my-account/dashboard
2) Right click, open Inspect for your page inspector. This shows all the data and code behind the webpage, usually hidden from your eyes.3) Navigate to the network tab to see the data being sent from T-mobile to your browser.4) Refresh the page F5.5) In network there will be a list of files, select "account"6) Change from Headers tab to Preview tab7) Expand myLine > ratePlan. Your plan details are in there. socCode is the important one.
OK, so there's something I'm missing here. I found out my SOC code. But I'm unclear as to what to do with it.

Can somebody enlighten me?

socCode: "C25L9T2", name: "Experience More"

Check a few pages back. I activated on a spare phone using esim and the promo offer appeared in the promotions section of my account about an hour right after activation.

I am also on simple choice. But they told me 10 dollar one time charge plus 5 dollars tax every month added to the existing bill.
That's correct, if you're on Simple Choice. SC plans have taxes and it's around $5ish per line

Happy to trade with s24u, ping me
Perhaps there is something I don't understand. How could you not be about to trade a 16 pro max for a s24u? They are new price was equal and iPhones retain value a little better.

The drawback is, once you have people on free lines, you can never switch the carrier or take advantage of the promotions you get by switching the carrier. You are stuck.
I agree that they don't give you the free lines because they're generous they do it as a retention technique. However, it can provide very good value in my opinion. I currently have 10 lines on experience more. My line cost is $160 plus tax and fee fees. Which in New York works out to about $221. So essentially $22 per line. And get $829 trade-in value values every two years. Honestly, I think that's a bad as good deal as you could ever hope for certainly not gonna do better with AT&T or Verizon
